1819 Henry R. Schoolcraft explored the area now known as Christian County
1821 Missouri became a state. 
ca. 1822 First settlers came to the area now known as Christian County.
1843 Village of Ozark was incorporated.
8 March 1859 Christian County was organized in an act passed by the state legislature.
2 August 1861 Civil War skirmish at Dug Springs, Christian County.
1865 Courthouse burned.
1882 Chadwick branch of the Springfield Southern Railroad was completed.
10 May 1889 Baldknobber hanging
April 1922 Tornado in Ozark
1945 New Christian County Fairgrounds was built.
1975 Christian County Museum was started.
